why do i like to keep up with celebrities?

Following pop culture may seem boring or uneventful at first sight, but to me it's something that can bring a lot of positive things into our lives. For example, it helps you meet other people with the same interests as you do, somebody with the same favorite artist or favorite movie. These people can be from all around the world! You can also work on your understanding of a foreign language by talking to the people you meet, and it also serves as a way to be updated on different things happening in the world around us, related to politics, fashion, and other related events.
